Guitar House55 specialises in Resonator guitars. We keep a good stock of all the popular designs and models. We normally have around 8 -10 different resonators in the shop. I believe we have the largest number of resos on display in a single shop in the North East. This means that you can try all the different types and compare them both acoustically and electrically.

The wood bodied resonators give a mellow sound, while the metal bodied guitars give a bright, aggressive blues sound. Some have pickups fitted so that they can be played through an amplifier. Different pickup configurations have very different amplified sounds.
